We’re creating our own future, The Lake Country Way! history Founded by Peter and Susan Jacobson in 1976, Peter’s love for carpentry and vision of building a company was coupled with Susan’s retail background and insight on customer service to form the foundation of success. Equipped with a tool-filled van, a will to succeed, and a passion for the business, the company was built job by job while business skills were polished. The values and ethics that defined Lake Country Builders at its birth were cultivated as the company grew. Through the 80’s, the company built a dedicated work force and developed strong business relationships that supported continued success. This Island Lake Lodge is a work of art in wood and stone. Our sincere thanks to Eddie Near, Lake Country Builders and the team of craftsmen that completed this masterpiece. The project was started about three years ago by another developer. He and his architect envisioned a mountain lodge with stunning sunset views over Island Lake. It was unbelievable how Beth’s enthusiasm and eye for color actually made the selection process fun! Most notably, Beth worked diligently to have our lower level furnished and accessorized in time foe our super bowl party deadline. After our lower level was completed, the conscientious follow-up care of Pat McGuire and Cindee Nelson was also appreciated. They were truly “go-to” people who got things done! They both listen politely and acted promptly on any issues or concerns. The service and quality of Lake Country Builders was remarkable which ultimately resulted in a beautiful completed project, but there are other factors that enter into our recommendation. What an asset to your team he is His patient professionalism, sense of accountability with other crews, follow through, attention to detail, and great respect for the fact that my family had to live in this house during everything was really incredible. So much could have gone wrong, or made it very difficult for our family to stay in the house during all this, but Jack went over and above with the many details of the job so we would be the least inconvenienced. Beth and Renee were very helpful in keeping our financial and design pieces in good shape based on all their experience and we just loved working with both of these talented women. I know I am leaving someone out, but in general everyone we worked with at Lake Country was fabulous. Working with many vendors in a highly competitive environment in my position at Target, I know how rare it is to find this combination of talent. Our project was probably the biggest financial challenge we have ever managed, but we feel it was money well spent.
