If you are anything like me, sometimes you don’t feel it’s necessary to fumble around in the night searching for the light switch so you can safely navigate your way down the stairs. Well, after one tumble of my own down the steps and hearing comparable stories from others, I decided to do a little research. I spoke briefly with the rest of the team here at Lake Country Builders and one recommendation that stood out was installing motion activated stair lighting?

After some looking around I have found some systems that could be applied to your stairs and they will certainly add a level of safety and convenience to your home that will not go unnoticed. These systems can range in difficulty for installation based on the style you choose so we do advise having an electrician involved if necessary.
