When our clients were dreaming up their Wisconsin lake home, they imagined more than just a getaway. To bring this vision to life, we partnered with PKA Architecture and O’Hara Interiors, collaborating to craft a whole-house custom lake home remodel. We ended up with a beautifully designed lakefront home exactly tailored to meet the family’s needs!

A Thoughtful Approach to Design

Every detail of this custom lake home was carefully designed to be both beautiful and functional. We created a layout to encourage connection during large family gatherings (a regular for this family) while also offering quiet nooks for the introverts to retreat to.

The home’s neutral palette provides a calming backdrop, while bursts of bright, playful colors add energy and modern flair. From bold furnishings to striking décor, these pops of color infuse personality into every corner of the home. The juxtaposition of restful and bright brings the overall vision to life: a beautiful home to rest, recharge, and enjoy the fun of lakefront living.

This Wisconsin lake home is stunning from corner to corner, but every project has a few standouts. Because it wasn’t their primary residence, we wanted to prioritize a few essential spots to bring the extended family together at this beautiful lake home:

• A Spacious Dining Area: Perfect for hosting family dinners and celebrations. This was a must for this project and it came together beautifully!
• Cozy Corners: Intimate nooks for quiet moments of relaxation or reading by the lake bring that retreat and recharge feeling the clients wanted to prioritize in their lake house.
• A Stunning Brick Fireplace: Nothing says like side living quite as much as a cozy cabin style fireplace to gather around.
