Twin Cities Laundry Room goes Green

And we don’t mean the paint color!
Our design/build team at Lake Country Builders felt we had an opportunity to create a small space laundry room (approx 5′ X 6′)that was big on green features. Here’s what we came up with:
-Motion activated light switch.
-Pass through door to master closet for transporting your laundry basket efficiently.
-Space saving drying rack and rod for those items that are better off if not put in the dryer.
-Rev a shelf folding ironing board that fits in a drawer. www.rev-a-shelf.com
-custom cabinetry for all your storage needs painted in the same color as the walls, which works great in small spaces.
-A high efficiency stackable washer/dryer by LG. www.lg.com
-Remnant granite countertops in a honed leather finish.
-Environmentally friendly Marmoleum flooring. www.themarmoleumstore.com
-Space saving pocket door.
Saving space in the home is an often overlooked green concept and makes sense especially in areas that are strictly utilitarian. The convenient location adjacent to all second floor bedrooms makes the task of doing laundry easy and efficient.
